The FGX Magnetic Float level transmitter continuously measures the level of a liquid in a tank or other type of vessel. The FGX level transmitter uses the principles of magnetism and buoyancy to generate an electronic resistance output in response to the continuously changing liquid level.
The level transmitter is comprised of a float and stem, also called the sensing rod. The float is selected and sized for its buoyancy in the specific liquid to be measured and contains a magnetic element. As the float is raised or lowered by the liquid level, the sensing rod will induce a resistance output, which is directly proportional to the liquid level.
