JTR Guided Wave Radar

Level Transmitter

The JTR guided wave radar level transmitter is a solid and liquid level measuring instrument commonly used in a variety of industries. Using state-of-the-art TDR technology, the JTR continuously measures the level of powders, granular and liquid materials within bins, silos and tanks. It transmits electromagnetic pulses along the steel wire cable or tube/rod to propagate at the speed of light; when these pulses encounter the surface of medium to be measured, the pulses will be partly reflected to form an echo wave and returned to the pulse transmission device along the same path, and the height of liquid level can be calculated.

Key features of the JTR guided wave radar level transmitter include cost effective 2-wire power supply to simplify installation, optionally available HART digital communications; built-in display for easy setup; a wide range of mounting connection sizes and types; 5mm measurement accuracy with rapid level reading; can withstand CIP process; dual liquid level interface measurement; and able to measure sticky and paste like medium in the process. Guided wave radar level transmitter is capable of measuring the low dielectric constant of solid level, liquid level and two different liquid medium level interfaces. The JTR Guided wave radar devices have no moving parts and require minimum maintenance. The product models include coaxial, tube/rod, and steel wire cable and is suitable for high temperature and high pressure medium liquid level measurement.
